Framework for the architecture of exoplanetary systems

We present a novel, model-independent framework for studying the architecture of an exoplanetary system at level. This allows us to characterise, quantify, and classify individual planetary system. Our aim in this endeavour is generate systematic method study arrangement distribution various quantities within single propose that space architectures be partitioned into four classes: similar, mixed, anti-ordered, ordered. applied our observed synthetic multi-planetary systems, thereby their mass, radius, density, core water mass fraction. explored relationships between system's (mass) other properties. work suggests that: (a) similar are most common outcome planet formation; (b) internal structure composition planets shows strong link with architecture; (c) systems inherit from (d) started inside ice line formed in-situ found (e) anti-ordered expected rich wet planets, while ordered have many dry planets. find, good agreement theory, observations generally biased towards discovery whose density or anti-ordered. probes novel questions new parameter spaces understanding theory observations. Future studies may utilise not only constrain knowledge but also multi-faceted entire speculate on role hosting habitable worlds.
